Indiana County Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Services
MCM Consulting Group, Inc. is completing the 2023 update to the Indiana County Hazard Mitigation Plan.
MCM will begin by conducting a capabilities assessment and risk assessment. Next, a mitigation strategy will be developed, followed by the development and finalization of the updated draft hazard mitigation plan.
MCM will provide a final updated hazard mitigation plan that exceeds all state and federal requirements.
Susquehanna County - THIRA-SPR
MCM Consulting Group, Inc. will complete the Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment – Stakeholder Preparedness Report (THIRA-SPR) for Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania in conjunction with the county hazard mitigation plan update.
The THIRA-SPR will examine county and municipal vulnerability against the national planning scenarios in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security National Preparedness Goal and 2023 Core Capability Questionnaire from PEMA.
All information gathered will be input into a tool that will be used to update the Commonwealth THIRA-SPR.
Warren County Community Risk Reduction Plan
MCM Consulting Group, Inc. has been contracted by Warren County to develop the Warren County Community Risk Reduction Plan
The planning process and final plan will be completed based on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1300 Standard on Community Risk Assessment and Community Risk Reduction Plan Development.
The plan will outline a risk assessment of the fire risks within the county and identify goals, objectives and strategies to decrease the impact of fires and provide public education.
Pandemic Response Planning, Training and Exercise
MCM Consulting Group, Inc. (MCM) has been hired by the Juniata County Commissioners to develop a pandemic emergency response plan that will be an annex plan for the Juniata County Emergency Operations Plan.
One of the primary deliverables of the project is to utilize current data and statistics to ensure the pandemic plan is adequate for a response and recovery of a pandemic event, specifically COVID-19.
MCM will review and make recommendations to enhance the Juniata County Emergency Operations Plan and then conduct training, a tabletop exercise and a functional exercise to finalize the project.
