MCM Consulting Group, Inc. (MCM) currently has an immediate placement for a newly created position of Vice President of Business Operations.
This is an administrative level position, which is responsible for overall business, company development and operational management. Additional responsibilities include project supervision, management and work.
The successful candidate will have an extensive understanding of and background in business management and operations, as well as business development concepts. An MBA, or masters’ degree in business administration, accounting or finance is preferred, with a minimum of 7 years management experience, and a background in one or more of the following disciplines: consulting, electronics, emergency management (EMA), emergency medical service (EMS), engineering (PE preferred), finance, fire service, geographic information systems (GIS), grant management, healthcare, homeland security, homeland security exercise and evaluation program (HSEEP), law enforcement, public safety answering point (PSAP), public safety answering point technology, program management, project management (PMP preferred), telephony, tower site development or two way radio (RF). A combination of education and experience can be substituted for the degrees.
VP must obtain Project Management Professional (PMP) certification within six (6) months of hire and maintain the certification during employment with the Company.
